I had this job come on a week ago in the Dudley area of the West Midlands, to repair a puncture on the rear of this 2017 KTM 1290 Superduke. Absolutely stunning bike, another add to my wishlist. On arriving i went through the usual motions of securing bike, removing retaining pins, etc. The largest socket I had in my posession was a 55mm 12 point socket, as Ducatti Panigale fitment. To my astonishment this wasnt large enough to fit the rear axle nut. I then measured it to find that it was in fact a 60mm nut. So a week later, after purchasing a 6 point 60mm socket off Amazon I returned and completed the job. So its goto be said that KTM surely do use on their bikes rear axles......Big Nuts !
